Wrist pain the day after a round?

I’ve picked up golf again this summer. I’ve probably played 20 rounds since April. The next day after the last few rounds, I’ve had this bad wrist soreness/pain. Enough to keep me from playing back to back days.

I barely take a divot with my swing, so I don’t think slamming the ground is causing it. Does anyone else get this? Any way to prevent/treat it?

Get a theraband It’s designed for tennis elbow, but it’ll help strengthen you wrist

Both wrists or just the right (assuming right handed)? I only had wrist pain from hitting/practicing too many low punch shots, while taking too deep of a divot.

Do you ever hit balls off of mats? Doesn't matter how steep you are on those things you're still banging your hands into concrete.

Both hands.

And yes I do hit off a mat, but it’s been at least a week which is strange.

yeh my left wrist has been killing me after practice/rounds for about a month now

Makes sense about mats -- i practice at santa maria and start my divot too early every so often

Those Santa Maria mats got really hard really fast. When was the last time anyone hit off the grass there?

Quit “Baitin”so much.

A wrist can only take so much.
