Where would you rank the Oaks at Sherwood if it were still open today?

This used to be my home course. Played there basically every other day after it went public until I showed up 1 morning and the doors were locked. I remember it being in pretty damn good shape right before it closed. The greens were always in pretty decent shape even during the winter. The course dried out quite a bit if we went more than a week without rain (even with the over night watering). I credit that course with making my driver the most constant club in my bag. Aside from a few shitty months condition wise that I can remember, it was my favorite place to play in BR.

It was fun. Got to watch Stiles Mitchell hit it over water on I think 12. The par 4 with the pond in front green.

Love this course. Very tight fairways and fun. Played it a lot in college when it was still private, definitely put a premium on being straight with the driver. I wish someone could find a way to open it back up. I would love to play it occasionally when I am in town.

Pretty sure it was 11 because I don't remember another hole after 10 before that one lol.

It would be third behind SM and BC as far as public . Crazy that BR only has 2 decent options.

It was longer than that one step off back box.

Had great greens, I liked the course a lot.

It sucks that BR doesn’t have these middle of the road clubs like Sherwood and Fairwood anymore.
