I want to practice chipping. The driving range would be a waste. Where else to go? And where do you practice bunker shots?

Where do you live? Some courses have nice practice areas for those things
I chip/pitch a lot in my backyard. Have a practice turf square and chip to a rug i use as a target

Parks. Pick out trees with range finder and hit to them. The people count as hazards
Bunkers - the beach.

I go to City park mostly because it's not too crowded and not to far from my job on Florida Blvd.. Webb and Santa Maria are always busy. The best BREC golf course to go to is Dumas since it's never too busy. They also have a green where you can hit 100 yards shot so I think it's the better for me when I want to work on wedges. Beaver Creek is really good but to far out for me.

You can practice chipping in your back yard or even in your house. Figure out the feel for different types of shots. Would need to go to a course to get some reference on roll out and things like that. Don’t need much space to practice chipping.

Higher end courses will have the facilities. Just purchase a small bucket and you're good to go. You can always recollect balls.
There is this place called Golf the Round in SLC that when I was learning where I'd get a season pass for less that $500 annually. All balls were free and they had pitch grass and greens, sand traps, driving range, and heated (important in Utah) sheltered facilities to hit. I'm sure there's a place like that around you. It may be a goat ranch.

beaver creek. Half as many people or fewer than santa maria and it's just better.
