It's definitely the hardest golf tournament to win.

Prestige wise, it’s so new it hasn’t really found its place yet. That being said I’ll bet 90+% of this board could tell you Justin Rose won gold in Rio, but couldn’t name more than 2 major winners without looking it up from 2016. I know I couldn’t.

True. I think in 20 years it’ll be thought of pretty damn highly. Winning in a once every four years tournament on the world stage means something. Plus they get to experience the Olympic village and being around the best athletes in the world.

For a lot of guys it’ll be a once in a career experience too. Staying in the top-10 in the world plus top-4 in the US is tough.
