Brice Wilkinson, Southern Miss grad and now law school student, has made match play at Sleepy Hollow in New York. Best of luck to the ole baw the rest of the way.

I couldn't imagine playing enough golf in law school to play high level mid am golf.

The kid is good. Won our club championship this year by a wide margin. Shot a Sunday 61 to seal it and the course was playing pretty tough.

I've always admired the hell out of guys like this. It definitely takes a lot of natural talent, but to be a good golfer with a demanding career takes a lot of focus.

Playing in a state am, let alone a us am will remind you how good college players are and how much golf they play a week.

Would love a tournament a level above mid am for guys with full time jobs, kids, and who can only play 1-2 a month with no practice in between. Feel like that's a level I would like to compete against lol. These 28 year old "salesman" without kids aren't playing the same game I am.

I can beat D3 golfers still and on occasion can knock off a D2 golfer these days.

I have not beaten a D1 golfer in a tournament since my 30’s.

Those kids practice all the time.

To do what Wilkinson is doing make me full of envy. Law school, high level golfer…..I wish I was as focused.

He will probably be chairman at ANGC one day.

For anyone interested, he is playing in the pre qualifier for the Sanderson Farms Championship (played next week in Jackson, MS). Top 25 make to the open qualifier on Monday. He shot 70 today and looks to be in good position to make it to Monday.
