Arni played well; Matty is on the bubble. Mendell, Hayes, and McWilliams shot a bunch. Malan for ULL shot +12. That place is so hard.

Round of 16 on Golf Channel right now.

Have to say I’m very impressed with Little John Daly. Kid can really play. 4 up through 9 holes currently.

Daly II eliminated by UGA commit Mason Howell. Howell qualified for Oakmont this year by shooting a sporty 63-63 at Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta.

How much do you think the winner of an event like this gets? Close to a million over the next couple of years??

Yes, in the same class too (‘26). Mason was the medalist at the Junior and lost in the opening round of match play.

Then he survives a 20 for 17 playoff just to get to match play at the Am and wins the whole thing. Golf is strange.

As it was also said, “It don’t always be like that, but sometimes it do.”
