Jesus Christ man, I’m mistaken you don’t want to argue you just refuse to actually read what I’m saying. Please read clearly
The newer ball has definitely allowed the rest of the field to compete with Tiger in the middle and later parts of his career. When the technology first came out he was one of the first to embrace it thus had a huge advantage. This also coincided with the Tiger Slam, I dk if you remember him winning 4 majors in a row right when the new technology was becoming widely used? Once he did that everyone who wasn’t on board realized that holy shite they better get on board.
So yes after 2001 the new balls helped everyone keep up with Tiger, but his ability to adapt to them early allowed him to win 4 straight majors. Maybe he does it with balatas, or maybe not but he wins more majors later on and it evens out, who knows
