Taylormade GAPR vs SIM Hybrid

Looking to upgrade the last club in my bag, 3 hybrid from my Walter Hagen beginner set. Looking at the GAPR Lo 17* club and they are selling new for about $130-150. Is there any noticeable difference between the GAPR and the new sim hybrid? Surely it can’t be worth double. Also, open to other suggestions for hybrids, should I look at utility irons or are those just long irons for off the tee?

I recently bought a gapr lo on eBay, new shaft, $143. I lofted it down at 15.5. I pullled my 3 wood out the bag because I couldn’t hit it. EVER. I don’t have much experience with it yet, but what I do have I like..

I have a sim 5 wood and absolutely love it. I wasn’t a fan of the sim hybrid. Had too low a launch for me and I tried multiple shafts. Went with a Callaway Mavrik Pro 3 hybrid. Felt amazing at contact and I was able to control trajectory like a long iron.

Where are you seeing the gapr lo 17 sold as new? Looked the other day and only found used or the mid on all the sites. Hit the gapr mid 18 or 19 a buddy has the other day and it was great.

From my searching this isn’t gonna happen. eBay was the best bet and there were only a handful there..

Depends on what you want to use it for. Id have reservations about trying to hit a GAPR out of the rough.
I haven't hit either one of them, But I would imagine that the SIM Hybrid is more versatile.

I had the GAPR Mid 3 but didn't particular care for it. More than likely just me but I couldn't get a good feel for it. I have an Apex 19 4 hybrid now that I really like
