Sub 70 Sycamore Center-shafted Putter Review

I have played nine holes yesterday and spent quite a bit of time on the putting green this morning with it, so now I have a pretty good feel for it.
This putter has some heft to it ( kind of reminds me of the Piretti mallets a few years ago). It came with a tool and a weight set consisting of two each of 5,10,15,20 gram weights. It came loaded with the 15 gram weights and after the round yesterday I put in the two 10 gram weights.
One thing about it, this putter won't get knocked off line putting through the fringe. But it's not so heavy that it is a distraction.
The face is CNC milled with no insert. it's pretty amazing that a putter with this weight has such a soft face and roll. It puts a nice roll on the ball and the putter sits really nice.
It's a handsome putter and I am trying the new Golf Pride Reverse Grip on it to start. It's a full size mallet and you can see from the pictures. It will be interesting to see how the black finish holds up over time.
I need a few more rounds with it before I say if makes the bag permanently, but the best compliment I can say about it right now is that it is very solid feeling.

Hey Chappy,
When I spoke with them Thursday he said that they have a lot of new stuff coming in January.
He said the new 4 wood is getting great reviews for distance and accuracy. The face height is 1.3 inches, the same as a Qi10 fairway face.

To each their own, the shape would seem to me to encourage face twist for an off center strike.
Lab basically eliminates that with the face width to increase the size of the sweet spot.
I’ve never really liked the rounded mallet style, though I do like those like the

Yes, I’ve heard good things. Everyone is waiting on the new driver too.
The TA3 CB irons are in the horizon. I saw prototype and it looks great
I love your putter. It came out 3 weeks after I got my TA3 putter. I can’t switch now though. I love this thing

Don’t worry about the black finish . . . I’ve had a Sub 70 TAIII DB putter for about 3 years now and there’s not a blemish. I do take a little extra precaution when the greens have been sanded, but otherwise just play it without worry.
Enjoy!!
Enjoy!!

Sub 70 dose have a "Fang" model like the #7 Odyssey or Bettenardi.
I have always been a Bettenardi fan.
