OK....Another update....According to personnel yesterday, Squirrel will not be closing. The Chitamacha Tribe is supposedly getting the paperwork to take over the club. Perry gave the go ahead to get the course in tip top shape. Just FYI......Repeating what was told to me yesterday....

It's in ok shape....Po annua is very prevalent on the greens right now.... I can play a mid week round when the time changes...... My work day ends at 2:15...

Squirrel is open and WILL NOT close! Off the path today! Oilfield trash tournament on Tuesday afternoons starting at 5..... be there no later than 4:45 to draw teams!

Just spoke with a local who said that the deal with the Tribe fell through? Now supposed to close in the fall?
