Had a Ventus black 50g stuff delivered today.
Hit some Ventus shafts at the manufacturers demo at our course, speed jumped up 4pm consistently. Looking forward to seeing it tomorrow on the course.
Anyone else sporting something new?

Most recently fitted for an interesting setup.
110 driver swing speed
10° head
Went with a lighter shaft to squeeze a little extra speed out. Tour AD UB 5x. Little bit softer butt and mid section and pretty stiff tip to keep the flight down and dispersion tighter. I like it so far.
I had the IZ on my previous driver and now on my woods. 7x on the 3 wood, 8x on the 5 wood. The softer tip in the IZ helps get the ball up and land softer into greens.

I've never been consistent enough to be deem a fitting beneficial, but the 1,000 different shaft options has always seemed like marketing more than substance to me. I just can't wrap my head around 100 different stiff shafts and 100 different Xstiff shafts having 200 different outcomes

A fitting would very likely improve your consistency. There’s a shaft for every swing.
Just tot into a Ventus Blue Velo+ 6x on my Qi4D. It is absolutely pure.
Came from a Denali Blue 6s. Don’t get quite the distance on a pure swing/strike but the dispersion and consistency on the Ventus is night and day.
Have a Ventus red velo+ on my 7wood and that club feels like I’m hitting a putter 210-220. Impossible to hit a terrible shot with that club/shaft.
I’m interested in trying a Ventus Black at some point. Lots of friends play that one.

I doubt it. I might hit one decent shot per round. The rest are really good or really bad
It's an interesting way to play golf. I shot a 92 on a par 70 course on Sunday with 3 birdies
My driver miss is a slice if I'm off, then later in the round a nuked pull when I account for it.
My iron miss is a hosel rocket or a chunk. My wedges are not particular, but a full swing good contact miss is usually pulled 15 yards left.

Well I can say from experience this Ventus shaft likes a fade better than my Aldila 50s.
Hit 13/14 fairways today with it. Didn’t miss much on the one I didn’t hit.

I've been seeing a lot of info about he Newton Shaft, especially on the Champions Tour. Has anyone played these shafts yet? If so, what are your thoughts?
