If you are in the area and havent played RTJ in a while, now would be the time.

Falls and Crossing both in excellent shape

The only RTJ course I just really haven’t cared for was Greenville.

I’m only a mile from Capital Hill and played The Judge this morning. Despite having a bunch of rain only one fairway was pretty soggy (Cart path only today). Greens are just flat mean and fast. Anything above the hole is tough, ball gets past the hole just wants to keep rolling.

Ball rolls true once you fix the ball marks idiots keep leaving. I usually fix at least 3 plus mine on greens.

Its a tough track depending on which two 9 hole courses you play. Eats my lunch.

The only RTJ course i didnt like was the one in Birmingham. Greens were hard as a rock and slow when I played there. Had my 60 dialed in and all it did was bounce off the green, every, damn, time. Frustrating round to say the least. Think I shot an 81 but felt like i should have shot a 74 with how dialed in i was with distance control.

I like The Valley and despise The Ridge. I don’t like being penalized for hitting it in the middle of the fairway, and you can have a lie you’re standing on your head right down the middle.

Ross Bridge is great, but I don’t like they charge more for it.

Played senator yesterday morning and judge yesterday afternoon.

The pin placement on the 18th green on the judge has to be illegal.

I know what you mean. I hit it 8 feet below the hole to the left. Putt just missed the left edge, rolled a couple inches past, finished in front of the hole right of it after curling all the way around without touching it. Anything above the hole or even pin high would be a 3 putt

Playing Ross Bridge, Oxmoor Valley (Valley) and the Senator this weekend.

How was The Senator? We all heard that the Judge was pretty tough so we opted out of that one.

Legislator is the easiest of the 3., Judge to me isn’t the worst, but it’s got 14 holes with water. If you’re playing from the back tees The Judge is a bitch though. I’m old so I play from the whites.

Senator is in great shape, had an Epson tour event there 3 weeks ago. The cabbage (what I call the deep rough) if you hit in it don’t be surprised if you don’t find it. I’d suggest just dropping one near where you think it went in. You probably won’t believe me now, you will after you see it. 8” in places, a foot or more in most long and thick. Bopper hurt himself trying to hack it out.

Above the hole on that 18 is the worst of all 3 courses there IMO. I live a mile from it, and the marshals group is playing on it this week (we rotate courses each week).

Played both Oxmoor courses and Roos Bridge a couple weeks ago. Oxmoor was really nice but Ross Bridge was a beautiful course to play.
That said, the greens were crazy fast. Fastest I have ever played.
