Do the RTJ Trail courses have GPS with green information?

Headed over for a few rounds and wonder if it would be wise to order Strackaline books but don’t want to waste the money if the carts have the same info.

I’ll be playing The Judge and Grand National - Lakes if they have different information at the various courses.

Thanks

Enjoy. I loved both of those courses.

There is something about having a paper copy of a yardage book though. I feel distracted with a phone. Get to it, unlock it, clear BS notifications, just a hassle sometimes.

Yes, 18 birdies will give you 3D views of the greens.

There are some really bad places to miss on those greens. Sometimes you just have to accept the 3 putt if you get on the wrong side of the ridge.

The carts give good detail of the greens and the severity of the slope is shown in different colors.

The carts at the RTJ courses in bham have the GPS, range and green slopes. I assume all RTJ courses do.

Played valley and the ridge recently. Courses in good shape for this time of year and they have a lot of slope to those greens.

Yeah they do but sometimes the pin location listed on the GPS is wrong.

I will still shoot a pin with a rangefinder. I never fully trust the GPS on the cart to be set correctly. I just like to see the slope of a green in advance to see if there are any areas to avoid.

Me neither. I was recently in Arizona and i hit a 50° wedge at a pin that GPS said was 100 yards out. Its was actually 79. At first i thought wow the ball really carries out here. Then i got to the ball and realized there is no way i hit a 50° 125yds (unless a blade it).
