Pitching wedge selection

Do you fellas usually use the pitching wedge from your iron set or go with the same type of wedge as all your other wedges?

It depends on your needs, your gapping, and what you prefer the look of. Even with a Vokey 46, I’m 5-6 yards shorter than my set wedge, so it doesn’t fit my gapping well. I also don’t like to hit green side shots with a club stronger than 50, so I don’t need it for that. With all that, I go with the set wedge.

The lofts of sets have strengthened over the years so most people probably need 3 extra wedges.
I have Sub 70 699 pro set 45, set 50, then Edison 53 and 57 wedges currently.
