I’ve been using an odyssey putter with an insert. But I really like the looks of pings
What’s the different feel with those?

I haven’t checked out recent releases, but they had two different inserts at one time. A milled and a molded. Both felt nice. Milled had a nice click and the other was softer a similar to the other OEMs. They use to put the groove tech that helped off center hits get the same distance.
Overall, they are solid putters.

I don't think that can be answered easily. What I may feel with one putter could be completely different than what you feel. It would be a matter of you personally going swing both putters side by side to get your answer.
I've never been a fan of Odyssey putters but tons of people love them so they're obviously good.

Putters are something that have to feel good to you. I suggest going to a golf store and trying out every different shape you can find. You might be surprised at what you like.
