There’s nothing special about the course as far as tips/local knowledge that I can think of.
Gotcha.. I was told by someone else that the course would be similar to playing Webb in BR

That’s a fair comparison.

I’ve played it since it’s been open.
After today I don’t know if I’ll ever go back.
Driving range closed
Cart path only which wasn’t needed
Green were the worst I’ve ever seen them. I know it’s a public course but come on.
Staff wasn’t very friendly either.

Going to try and play a round there in the morning since my hotel is close and I have a few hours to kill.
Hopefully its not a complete disaster.

Its not a complete disaster. They are closed on Tuesdays, the greens are slow and not the best to say the least. It's not a terrible track
The fairways are in great shape at least

Thanks for the heads up hopefully I can get a tee time around 730-8 on a wens without any issue.

Yea shouldnt be an issue on Wednesday
If you want to drive 15-20 minutes from Broussard there's Cane Row in New Iberia or The Wetlands in Lafayette.

It ain’t in the worst shape, it’s not in the best. Everything around here is crunchy and needs rain so damn bad

That is the worst hole I have ever played. Right after Katrina all the pine trees behind the tee box fell over. So you could hit an iron the wrong way down 9 then hit an easy wedge on the 18th green.
