Well this closure sucks, I live in Lake Charles and have been looking forward to watching these guys play at the Nugget. Nothing cool ever happens here and now it’s closed to me!!!

From the article:

"LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Korn Ferry Tour announced Tuesday a partnership with the Lake Charles/SWLA Convention and Visitors Bureau to bring a new tournament to the Tour’s annual schedule starting in 2020. The Lake Charles Championship will debut at The Country Club at Golden Nugget in Lake Charles, Louisiana, the week of March 23-29, 2020, with 156 players competing for a $600,000 purse. A five-year agreement is in place through 2024."

Get a boat and watch from the water. Or binoculars and set up a tailgate spot on the 210 bridge.
