Honestly, all of golf media was pretty freaking insufferable yesterday. I couldn't even get myself to do my Monday morning ritual of checking out articles about the tournament because I was worried I would gag.
The NLU/Foreplay/Golf.com/Golf Digest writers were all over my social media feeds begging to blow that little Irish man. Kyle Porter, who I usually enjoy reading, was basically on his knees the entire week. It seems like that entire generation of journalists treat him like some god like figure.

Nantz is over-dramatic at the Masters, and always has been! Throw in the piano music, and Nantz has the demeanor of describing a funeral service. The Butler cabin ceremony is old and repetitive.
If Rose had won, Nantz would have cried.

And then to only see some of Scottie's shots on the final round in inexcusable. Like on 2, he ends up punching out from way left and we have no clue how he got there. again, they were too busy playing the Rory angle.

Baker Finch who I don’t really care for because he tries too hard to be like Nantz said after Rory walked off the 17th green that he could go ahead and put one arm in the green jacket. Like he hadn’t watched him play up and down golf all day.

thanks for sharing. pretty much sums CBS up.
to the poster talking about the media, I'm a regular NLU listener and I couldn't get through the first 10 minutes of their pod today.

Now he refers to previous Masters based on his own catch phrase. Example: refers to the 2019 Masters as “The Return to Glory” year. Arrogance!

he final hole was pretty comical.
He started crowning him half way through the round.
Way too early.
And it almost bit him in the arse.
