Improving is a Good Feeling

So I've posted a couple times about my "progress" in getting back in the game after a 7 year absence. When I stopped my game was in the toilet ( 100+ rounds)....when I started back, much of the same. Started working with Golftec and am starting to love this game again.
92 at Webb last week with a 6 holes stretch of even Par. Front 9 of Greystone today to 10 over, with 3 pars....and FINALLY posted a Par on #9. ( That hole drives me crazy)
Gotta say it is a good feeling.....now I just gotta find some regular playing buddies. Around the time I stopped playing my business partner joined CCLA and he doesn't want play anyplace else.

Golf is a frustrating and wonderful game at the same time.
Glad that you are enjoying the game again.
Joining a league if available is a great way to cultivate a permanent foursome.

That’s awesome. I am feeling the opposite right now and it makes me not want to play.

Golf can be consuming.
I was going through a phase where I was chasing improvement at the expense of just enjoying the experience.
I’m resolved to live in the moment and find the positive in whatever round I’m playing regardless of score.
I got down to 8.7 two years ago, but I’ve had a yo-yo to my index for the last two years. I’ve bounced my index around 11 plus or minus 2 with moments of great play and streaks of putrid play-especially in winter.
Good luck getting better. Focus on putting, chipping, pitching, and tee shots. Basically try to have a sharp short game and get ball in play off the tee. You’ll break 90 soon.

That's awesome man. I took several years off and got back into it the beginning of 2018.
I'm down to a 16.4 now and feel like I'm heading in the right direction. But I always play like shite at Greystone lol
