I’ll be there Thursday! They are doing $2 beers for 10 minutes every time there is a birdie on the 16th hole. I think the Astros people are doing a great job with activities (concerts, promotions) that should make the tournament a lot more fun.
Having said that, haven’t seen any commitments just yet which makes me wonder if there will be any big guys there.
Rickie, DJ, and Brooks have already committed to next years tournament at Memorial Park - I’m guessing due to their membership at the Floridian (owned by Jim Crane).

Yeah that’s my concern is the player commitments, I’m in Lake Charles so it’s close, guess I’ll just wait and see..

Yeah that's where they have the "caddy races" and where most of the food/drink set ups are. But be aware, that's where all the drunk people hang out, so if you don't want to be around them then head elsewhere lol

Yeah unless you wanted to get into one of the specialty areas which we’ve never done. Always just got GA and walked the course and followed whomever we wanted to watch.
I would recommend paying for the parking pass though. Doing the whole shuttle thing kinda sucks lol
