Really like the looks of them. Some reviews say they are supposed to be forgiving with high ball speeds.

Still looking at building a second bag and looking at these, the Srixon X7 and the Sub70 699s.

Anyone own or tried them ?

If you’re gonna go with Miura and spend that much, it’s gotta either be the baby blades or the TC 201s. Doing yourself a disservice otherwise by not going with their bread and butter.

I’ve been thinking about the TC 201s for a while but have never had a chance to hit them. Played z745s because I loved them so much and them randomly went into a set of New Level 623s that I loved as well. But, still have that yearning and definitely want some Miura irons at some point.

I went from the Z765s to the 201s. The sole is very different. Miura has less offset, slightly smaller and thinner top line. But man do they feel amazing.

Who doesn’t love a thinner topline, right? Obviously no v-sole on the Miura but how do you feel about the sole or what was the biggest difference to you? The New Level’s have a different sole too, but a pre-warn leading edge which I really like

The sole feels fine, I think the Srixons get through the turf slightly better. It's not significant though. The biggest difference is look and feel. Miura wins both. The Srixons are slightly more forgiving and they feel great, they truly do. But when you pure a Miura, you know it.

Awesome, may have just sold me. I'll let them know to send you a commission.

I've hit a few balls with a friend's Miura 301s. Thought they felt solid, but the look wasn't my favorite. A bit too much offset for a player's iron and also somehow didn't look confidence-inspiring to me. Maybe it was the blade length or top line or head shape or w/e, not sure. Still prefer my Mizuno JPX 919 Tours.

Just personal preference though, he loves them as do many others.

I am use to offset since I play Pings and I already have a set of the new G425 irons on order and offset has never bothered me.

Blades don't work for me any more that why I was looking at the cavity back design of the 301's.

My interest is whether they feel good and they provide decent distance compared to other models. The cost is not an issue.

Sounds like you just want Miuras for the hell of it. You can check the lofts on the website. 301s are 1* stronger than the 201s except the PW which is 2* stronger. There's your answer. They will be longer. That being said, the 7i is still 32* which by today's standards is weaker than 90% of the sets out there.

The feel is some of the best in the business if you can hit the center consistently, otherwise they are fun to laugh at when used by a poser.

Interesting on the 7 iron loft.

Not dead set on the Muria's , just not deferred by the price.

I want my second set to have a different feel. In 30 plus years of golfing I have never owned a set of forged irons.

I have hit plenty of them, but never owned. Funny thing is that I hit my buddy's Muzuno blade and I hit them just as high as my Pings, but I hit everything high.
