How often do y’all sharpen your grooves or have you ever actually done that your clubs?

Never, it’s a sham, grooves are like cars treads, they are there to displace water and debris. They don’t need to be sharp to work.

Then why do pro’s get a new 60 degree each week?

I agree it’s probably not as big of a deal as some make it out to be, but there is research that backs up the fact that worn grooves reduces spin, increases launch which in turn produces more roll out on each shot.

Again, amateurs probably can’t tell the difference, but it isn’t a myth.

Because they're free.

Groves don't wear down that quickly. Amateurs should get new wedges every 18-24 months.

ETA: Not to mention the pros are hitting thousands of wedges every week.
