If you’re not a member at PP you get to play 4 times out there per year.

To play The Lakes it costs $59 plus tax, and to play The Links it is $125 plus tax.

I’ve never played Greystone and I played Pelican Point a few times in the past but it’s been years. Which one is better

Which is closer to your house? Or maybe closer to work if you plan on playing afternoon rounds in the summer months.

You definitely need to play Greystone then since you've never played it.

Also you need to play both the Links and Lakes courses at Pelican again since it's been years. The Links had all of it's bunkers and greens re-done last year, and Lakes bunkers are currently under construction but should be finished soon.

Clubhouse is nice & good atmosphere, and the food is really good. Cart girls here lately don't seem to be out and about as much as often, but I believe a few members have voiced that so it'll probably get rectified.

The Links;
--Fairways were in bad shape recently due to microscopic bermuda mites that killed large patches of grass. They began treating them a few weeks ago and should be getting nice here shortly.
--Parts fairways and particularly closer to the greens historically have had tight hard pan lies that honestly suck and I don't know of anyone who wants that. But after they had re-opened last year after the reno these same areas were much more plush and softer and supposedly they were going to keep it that way.
--Not a bad walk for 18 holes
--Non member charge is $125 or if they are playing with a member then it's $90.

The Lakes;
--Is in good shape right now minus the bunkers that are being renovated
--Is a very easy walk.
--Only 9-hole but switching tee boxes after the turn makes it play differently
--It's a par 35/70, but I find it's not any easier than Links. Lakes greens are very challenging because they are small, some narrow in width and some short in length/depth, and most are slightly elevated similar to the Links.
--Non member charge I think is $60.
--If you have Lakes membership then it's $28 cart fee each time for Lakes (if you don't have unlimited plan) and $90 for Links before 3:00 then it drops to the same $28 cart fee after 3:00.

Greystone;
--Is a challenging course. I find it plays long but there are also several holes that driver is not needed.
--I find the rounds are typically longer there than Pelican, partially due to being fairly tough and also I find there are more public players there that probably aren't as good or familiar with course etiquette leading to longer round time
--Nice club house, only ate once but it was good.
--Nice cart girls

Forgive me for the stupid question, but do you still pa the cart fee if you walk? Is it literally a cart fee or simply just a charge to play even as a member?

It’s only if you use a cart.
