I know it’s a stretch but I will be traveling thru that area and looking for some golfing ball courses.

You should be banned just for using the phrase “golfing ball courses.”

I'm from that area and there is nothing to throw at up there. Its been a minute, but Stonebridge in Bossier is nice. NSU course in Natchitoches is ok. Querbes is ok and is in Shreveport but its damn near a nursing home with all of the older golfers there. Huntington isn't bad, but to honestly answer your question. If you are not a member at East Ridge or Southern Trace, golf sucks in the Shreveport surrounding area.

OP is right. Huntington and querbes are alright but you will deal with the jackasses out there who have no clue what they’re doing and it’ll take you 5+ hours to play a round

If you are willing to drive, there are some nice courses around

Crooked hollow in Greenwood (Texas border) is nice
Stonebridge as OP mentioned is nice

There is a course in Mansfield. I don’t know if it’s private or not, but it’s Mansfield so it can’t be that exclusive. I have been told that they got a pile of money from Haynesville shale activity, so it may be in decent shape.

9 hole course with tiny greens, hardly ever in “great” shape.

Last time I played there is was shot to hell! The greens had cancer! Not what it use to be IMO.

Cypress Bend is closed for a $4.5MM renovation. Hopefully it will be taken care of this time. We shall see.
