Straightening the driver is more about swing path more than anything. If you really want to work on your game, spend more time with your short game. Whatever you spend on the range, double that with chipping and putting.

Tell the instructor to keep it simple to one or two things. Preferably one thing to work on with the swing and one with proper setup to the ball (grip, Pre shot routine, lining up properly to the target with club face and feet etc).

Also, see if he can take a video of you doing the move he wants you to do so you can try and replicate it in front of a mirror at home to verify you are doing it correctly. No full swings or balls necessary in the house for that.

Thanks

Short game is coming around so really driving straight is next step in enjoyability

I could 5 iron 190 every drive just not fun. Also getting old losing distance

Good advice - if it goes well might do more. Kind of unsure how I will practice in New Jersey Winter

Thanks from a score perspective you are not wrong. Right now mentally just tired of 50% of shots going in woods

Good lesson was too shallow - aka bent at hip over ball vs more knee bend and not so over ball

I was now hitting draws so now practice to get it ingrained
