Free regripping with purchase of grips?

I know clubs will usually regrip for free if you buy the grips there, but I don’t belong to a CC in Nashville.
Do any national golf chains regrip for free if you purchase grips from them? My irons have slipped out of my hands for the last damn time.
ETA: I called a local place and they said $5 a grip. Feel like that’s bullshite.

It's only about an extra $20 for them to do it at a Dicks or Edwin Watts or whatever.

Nice, thanks.
I’ve always had it done at BRCC for free, but no longer live down there.
Had no idea how much it would cost.

Do it yourself. It’s easy and kind of therapeutic in a way

It's really simple to put grips on.
Pull the old grips off with a razor blade. Pull all the old tape off. Clean the shaft. Put on double sided tape vertically. Pour gas into the grip with your finger covering the hole. Shake it up. Pour gas onto shaft/tape. Slide grip on.

Sometimes Dicks will have certain grips they are trying to move that they will put on free

This is one of the easiest things to do yourself. I quit using tape/solvent a long time ago. Now everything goes on/off with my air compressor. Try different grips without ruining them if you don't like it. I can do a set of irons in under 10 min.

If you were a member at BRCC, wouldn't you not care how much it costs?

I would use solvent over gas, but yes, it's as easy as he described.

Ive done it before and honestly just don’t feel like dealing with it.

Well, I feel like there’s probably a slightly less explosive substance you could use, but the rest of the process you described is spot on.
A bench Vice is a helpful tool for this, as is an air compressor
