Bump...I had quit playing for a while mostly because I've been fishing so much. I'm just getting back into golf and still have my PING G20s. I'm now looking at several sets including the I230's, O311P Gen 5 and the Cobra Tec X.

Can't speak for the Cobra's, but I game the i230's and absolutely love them.. tried out the Gen 5 PXGs and were impressive, but my biggest hang up with the PXGs was that I'd get a flyer every once and a while that I just don't get with my Pings.. granted that could be just me but if you like your current Pings you'll definitely like the i230's but go hit both for sure..

What other Ping models did you look at before settling on the I230s?

I’m in a blended set of Apex and apex pro. 4 handicap. Really like them.

But I was looking for something “easier” after being in muscle backs for 20 years

G425 & i525.. G's were just not for me and I just found the feel of the 230's were more to my liking

Any opinions for a 20 HC (currently taking lessons and improving that aspect) between the T300s and PXG 0211 XCOR2 irons? Currently playing an old set of Titleist DCI 981s.

I saw a YouTube video where the guy had a robot hit 30 years worth of drivers. It was essentially 1 yard per year in distance.

Went to Watts last week to try out the new drivers. Brought my 12yr old Ping G30 for comparisons sake. Hit probably 20-25 balls with 3 different drivers then used my very last swing to hit my driver. 2 yards difference. Mike said get out of here. You don't need a new driver.

dpd...I wanna hit those irons brother. Next time I see you at the range I'll remind you...lol.
