Anyone play here recently and know what the course conditions are like? I've never played it and looking to play a round there next week, but don't want to make the 1.5hr drive if it's not worth it.

I've played it fairly recently. It's not in very good shape and that's being somewhat kind. The greens are not good at all. There isn't a lot of consistency from hole to hole from the speed and shape of the greens, the bunkers are hit or miss, the fairways were OK on some holes and terrible in patches on others...I would drive and play TPC every time over English Turn right now.

Thanks for the info! Yea TPC was the original plan until I found out they’re doing a whole bunch of work on the course.

They are working on fairway bunkers. Making the bunkers smaller and putting in sod.
It should not affect your play.

Outside of working on some bunkers,TPC is in pristine condition. Played there twice last week.

I played a few weeks ago. Almost killed a worker on 2. Once we got past 2, it wasn’t an issue.

Played a couple weeks ago at ET and made a thread asking what was wrong with it. Greens were in poor condition.

They are hosting a bunch of LGA events and qualifiers next year. Hopefully they get it together.

Played it recently as well and agree with what the others said.. Was in such great shape last summer but definitely not as good condition as it was before. Random cart tracks all over the fairways
