I have a few free days next week during the week. Thinking about driving up to Dancing Rabbit and staying a night or two and playing both of their courses with a friend.

I just did Biloxi 2 months ago, so don’t plan on going there again this soon. I wish Branson wasn’t 9 hours away.

Any thoughts and recommendations are appreciated!

Is Old Waverly the better option with the hour longer drive and I’m assuming a tad more expensive? And would I be able to book a room and tee times this late?

Not sure if it’s available this late but give it a shot. Two great courses with one being a links course. Thinking you must stay overnight to play but it’s worth it. Dancing Rabbit is great too, but different in that it’s very hilly and a little tighter. 36 holes there as well and wouldn’t have to spend the night and likely available tee times weekday.

I was just at Dancing Rabbit last weekend. Unfortunately, I've seen it in better shape. It wasn't horrible, but the Azaleas had some rough areas on the green edges that have been sodded. The Oaks was better, but had a good bit of poa on the greens. And, for some reason, they don't seem to maintain the bunkers.

Well that sucks to hear. I cant be mad though as I only paid $35 for my round.

It's still well worth the price, especially at $35. The greens rolled well and were actually pretty quick as long as you didn't have to go through the areas that had been sodded. It just wasn't pristine like I've seen it this time of year in the past.
