Was at camp this week and drove by to see the progress. Stopped on road and got to visit w superintendent and another gentleman involved. Still have September as opening time. From what I saw from main drag it looks great . They rerouted 6 holes I think he said . Now 5 on the water and others completely different from before. I told them what I believe needs to happen is the state needs to bring every meeting possible they can up here and Chamber needs to market the hell out of this course. Their first big event is the Senior 4 Ball in October. I look forward to playing weekly when it opens. It really is an incredible piece of property.

Next time you’re there ask them to let you take a cart out & ride the course. Take a few minutes to get out & walk fairways & greens.

It will be really nice when it opens. The question is, how long will it stay that way?

Yep I thought about it but they were in two carts and in deep discussions it appeared. They must be pouring the water to the course because it’s not rained an inch up there in last 6 weeks.

Pretty excited about this. I used to do a couple of golf morning/bass afternoon trips, but had to stop due to terrible course conditions.

There are some videos on YouTube that show some of the changes. I plan on playing it a lot if they don’t get stupid on the green fees.

Before they started renovations it looked worse than city park out there.

Also the way they reconfigured it, adding waterfront to 5 extra holes is going to be badass
