Playing there for first time in a bit tomorrow.

Looks like it’s gonna be windy tomorrow too which can make that course difficult.

Tees, Fairways and Greeens in good shape. Some bunkers need some work. The wind will be a challenge.

Condition was fine.

Course was hard and dry as a rock as it typically is. Wind was brutal. Greens seemed like they had been punched in the last few weeks and they were very soft.

They're punching every other week and top dressing.

Thanks for the update. Weather is killing me the last couple of weekends.

That’s smart. It’s keeping them there.

Did they ever get any water in their cart batteries or did they buy a new fleet?

Played a few weeks ago and we had three carts die.

Course was in good shape though.

Wonder what they are assessing for 75% of a fleet of carts, didn’t they recently raise rates? BC Golf is killing that place.

BREC and LSU are killing decent golf around here. They both flood the market with cheap, crap golf. Hard to compete with that in the area. Our area could be known as a great golf area if it were not for them.

The Island, Bluffs, Pelican Point and Copper would all have a lot more play and could charge better rates if it were not for Clark, City Park, Dumas and LSU. It isn’t BC’s fault.

Billy Casper couldn't run a laundromat. I hope the Island doesn't bring them back after their contract is up.
