Parents are members, usually play with my dad when in town.

He heard rumor that Troon taking over and they fired the GM everybody hates?

Maybe pick up a bunch of old members who quit specifically because of her

A member told me this is the rumor at the club.

I imagine a new management team will push for a membership drive. By getting rid of the GM and her eign of terror, the club should be beack to 300 fairly quickly.

That’s extremely unlikely to happen

I think the Indians were tired of wasting money on that tournament

That and the course was already asking the KF tour to move the date.

TO get the greens ready for the tournemnt, they had to burn them down by cutting. In March, the grass really isn't in growing season. The greens would take all year to recover. By the time they are primo, the season is almost over. They could do the tournemnt in summer or early fall and the greens wouldn't suffer so badly.

Troon is a great scenario. Troon manages Bandon Dunes and the other Kaiser properties along with other high profile clubs.

I’ve also heard of some pretty terrible experiences with Troon managing courses to be fair.

Could it be managed any worse than it has?

That is doubtful. If that bitch is gone they have done the bulk of their work.

Yes, both are true. Had dinner in the clubhouse last night after our scramble and it is confirmed. There is a feeling they will push to get the Korn Ferry back.

It is sort of convoluted, before he passed he put it into some sort of trust.
I didn't completely understand the process of it all when they emailed it to us at the time.

Troon is a management group

They dont technically own it

A trust owns it and supposedly the former GM was the head of the trust but somehow some other patriots on the trust canned her.

Apparently everybody excited, my dad has talked to a few people that dropped out that are now looking to rejoin.
