Anyone know why they swapped the nines again after being swapped not too long ago?

I haven’t played there in a while, but I hope they did move it back. Finishing up across the street from the clubhouse doesn’t make since.

They want you to pass the clubhouse between the 9s so you can stop and get food and drinks.

I played last weekend and 10 was still next to the driving range.

To increase revenue from the bar & grill at the turn

WTF sits down to eat between 9’s?
Carter has a nice snack shop by #10 (the old way, or maybe they just switched it back). You can grab snacks there if they had someone working it.

I played there last week and it was “swapped” due to maintenance on the front 9 during morning so they just kept it all day with people starting on 10.

I definitely prefer playing it the “old” way.

Been a minute since I’ve seen anyone working that shack.

They figure if you going to play a 6hr round you might need a snack half way

So are they back to normal with 1 being by the driving range and short game area?

It’s been 10 years since that turn stand was open. I thought maybe they would utilize it as a starter “stand” but I guess it’s not necessary

I think the poster is correct that it will bring more F&B revenue with the golfers coming back through the area near the kitchen. You can call and have hot food ready for you or a 6-pack with ice at the turn. At the very most back in the day the turn stand was a stand up beer/soda/water fridge with chips, nuts, candy, pre-made sandos, and a hot dog roller. Functional for sure but not a burger and fries if someone were to want it

I guess I’m the only one that doesn’t order a bacon cheeseburger and fries after 9 holes.

A snickers bar, m&m’s...sure. But I didn’t realize many of you eat a meal between nine holes. How do you fit back in between groups to play the back?

This is why it takes 5+ hours to play there.

Oh I don’t eat hardly a thing while playing, I usually play bad golf fast. I’m just saying that some casual groups not in a hurry sometimes make a day of it.

I’m like you don’t eat much more than crackers or snack. Rarely I will get sucked into a chili dog of course has that.
