My wife (no pics) wants to start playing golf,I know I know. Looking for suggestions on a beginner set for her that want break the bank. I have been playing for about two years and use Callaway XR's. Don't know how serious she will be about playing or how often she will want to play. Any suggestions are appreciated.

We really need a picture of her to get her fitted properly.
I'd piece her a set together off of eBay. lady flex clubs typically can be found for pretty cheap. Use the Ping online fitting deal to get an approximate and then buy Taylormade stuff (simply because they release new stuff every 2 weeks and you can find 5 year old stuff for cheap).

Just go to academy and buy the entire set with a bag in the box for like $200. It's not like she's going to be able to hit the ball anyway

I suggest getting her more kitchen appliances to keep her mind off of wanting to play golf.

Get her a set of old women's blades and shine them up real nice. Tell her great the clubs are. Take her out to play and let her get completely frustrated. After a few rounds, she'll quit wanting to play and you can set up an open account for me in the bar. You're welcome.

You should be looking for a boat

Adams golf makes a really good beginner set for ladies. Won't break the bank either.

This is really the only logical answer.

Get her driving lessons.
Small container of balls at driving range 2 or 3x week for 4 weeks.
Mini golf or putt putt once a week.
If she can practice and get some control buy set.
