Yea I guess that's not that bad But making sure to mention he was a D1 player, a pro, the best and fastest player he knows, and that 0-3 handicappers are average players all came across as a douche. I mean quite a few people have mentioned his post coming across as a dick. And I agree.

I don’t play there so I dont know the course. But, when I have played 5 hr rounds, there is invariably a group with holes open in front taking forever. It does compound the problem.

I agree that 3-3.5 hr rounds aren’t gonna happen at a crowded venue, mainly because of waiting for greens to clear on par 5s etc., but 4 hrs roughly should be about as slow as it ever gets. Even an environment as you mentioned should be 4:20/4:30.

Now, throw in even only 1-2 slow groups and now we are over 5.
It’s just something that should be taught. With insight it isn’t hard to be efficient without rushing
