I played in the John Deere Classic Pro-Am twice and it was awesome. Tom Hoge when no one knew about him. He was cool, he even let me hit his driver. A few years ago played with Sean O’Hair and Andrew Landry. Landry was great!

My dad played in the Compaq Classic Pro Am at English Turn around 1999 and he was paired up with David Duval.

Duval shook hands at 1 tee and then shook hands at 18 green.

He said he didn’t say a word to any of them :during the round. lol:

David Duval

Had a good friend that moved to Bossier City. He played golf with Duval's caddy regularly and played with David every now and then. He had the same experience as your Dad.

Years ago I'm listening to Bob Rotella speak at an event and he mentions working with college teams. He tells a story of going to Georgia Tech in the 90s and putting all the players in a row across from him and asking them to introduce themselves and what they wanted to discuss. Every player said they wanted to talk about what an a-hole David Duval was! Last guy stands up and says "I'm David Duval." Met him once myself, it was 1999, he was a dick then too.

Never played in a pro am but caddied and worked groups as a PGA liason many times, here's my list.

Tiger(99 so young) good not great, was cordial but signed a ton of stuff for everyone.

Vijay, very cool, don't think he knows anything but golf.

Tom Lehman, amazing.

Jerry Pate, pretty funny but a dick.

Jeff Sluman, awesome.

Jonathan Byrd, prick.

Lee Westwood, really cool.

David Toms, cordial.

Tim Herron, surprised he's a huge prick.

Hal Sutton, cool.

Elk, bipolar.

Fuzzy, drunk, hit on my wife, called her an OT 9.6.

My Dad played in lots of pro ams and said he wouldn't piss on Bruce Crampton if he was on fire.
