Anyone ever play the LGA Net Championship?

With zero qualms about winning, I signed up to play this in 3 weeks. It is held at Tamahka Trails this year. More of a shits and giggles thing with hopes to compete in my Flight.
Here is my question....I know in the State Am and even Mid-AM, some guys bring caddies. My depth perception and ability to track a ball in the air isn't the same since my eye surgery last year.
Would it be bizzare to bring a "caddy" with me, if for no other purpose to help me track my ball? I am guessing the rough will be up and I do not want to have to go back to the Tee and hit 3 simply because I cannot find a ball.

I’ve played in a few and you are allowed to bring a caddie. I never saw anyone with one at these events, but you are allowed.
I remember and odd rule with caddies. You can bring a caddie, but they can’t ride in the cart with you. I don’t know if they could rent their own cart or have to walk. For some reason I remember them saying that a caddie would have to walk.

I don’t think it’s bizarre. I’m sure some of the players have had their sons, nephews, or friends come carry bags for them.
If you’re just bringing a caddy to essentially do the labor I wouldn’t find it strange.
