re: 2021 Masters

I’m not upset this year. With this year having no patrons and those getting first refusal for 2021, I knew I wasn’t getting tickets.

As someone whose been to last 19 Masters (won 2000 lottery for 2 4day badges) I recommend that if u want to go to practice round drive into the parking area and hang out about 1 ish ...be discrete and kindly ask someone whose headed to car if they are leaving and would they be interested in letting you use there tickets(sometimes discrete financial consideration is involved out of view of security but not always and sometimes addresses are exchanged because part of deal may be mailing the tickets to the original owner as consideration for making deal) we have been picked in lottery for practice rounds 3 times in 32yrs we have been entering the lottery(we have 4 family members playing the lottery and only 3 times selected.. very long odds)...for last 6 yrs we have used the method I described above...kindness goes a long way and if you have a kid with you your chances go up 2-3 times we know from experience. Buying a package with badges from say my buddy with MY Bucket List tickets is also a great option and you get alot for your money which ain't cheap. 2020 badges where high(sellers where getting $7000-7500 per badge from reputable hospitality companies) due to excitement from Tiger being the defending champion that is not case in 2021 will be back down to $3500-4000 range if not less less due to Covid-19 fears. My hotel the West bank Inn still has some rooms ...389 nite for king-429 for 2 doubles ..really best hotel deal in augusta have stayed with them for last 12 yrs....All big name hotels are 500 and higher...some much higher...I you want to go then 2021 will be a cheap year to go...once we get back to normal...prices will go higher...
