I'd say -4 to -8. The USGA is over their punish the players phase, at least for the moment.

Mike Davis said they slowed the greens down and put the pins in positions that could handle this wind. The wind will die down but the course could get harder now that they've used the flattest pin placements, I don't think people are going to just start going low this week.

Like most us opens, you’ll have a guy go low one of the days (probably -5 max), just that flawless round for the us open. Someone will break through and if he’s already -1 or -2, then yeah, it could happen. It may not be until the weekend though, after they’ve gotten more of a feel of the course under its conditions.
