Oh man, I have a tough RTG choice, I earned a scholarship at LSU as both a QB and MLB, if I picked QB I'd be 3rd string, if I picked MLB I'd be a starter. That's a tough choice.

My high-school offensive line must all be rastas because my LT, LG, and C all have dreads

So I just returned a kick off for a touchdown in my dynasty but I noticed my returner was running rather funny so I hit up the replay. Turns out the sumbitch was running with the ball like he was the quarterback in the option ready to pitch that sumbitch.

EA needs to higher better game testers to catch these little things.

Sometimes I wonder how the EA testers miss these things. Things like the custom playbook glitch where the wrong team (offense/defense) lines up or what you just described aren't really difficult to have happen in a normal play session yet they are there....

So yeah, I don't know about this whole "the game is too defensive oriented" bit anymore.

I'm up 49-21 going into halftime in a game.

Then again I'm playing as Michigan agaisnt Eastern Michigan so that might have something to do with it.

Oh and zone coverage apparently has an expiration date because it's not doing anything for me.

I played 3 dynasty seasons as OC at Southern Miss then I'm halfway through a season at Central Michigan. The zone coverage doesn't bother me because it does what a zone coverage is supposed to do, make you time your throws in the throwing line. Just like when LB's just up, don't try to laser a 40 yard seam route. It is definitely a different fell offensively from last year, but I'm looking forward to figuring out the nuances. Also if your O-line sucks, your offense sucks, just like it should be.

to be fair I'm almost positive there was an error in the patch that caused that. There are extensive playbook checklists and crap of the like. So either it's a patch issue, or someone needs to be fired ASAP

After playing one play now game I can say this (It was LSU vs Bama on heisman):

JJ is absolutely terrible on this game. Multiple times there were wide open receivers and he missed them very very badly. He was 4/14 with 14 yeards and 2 picks before I put Mett in who I liked alot better on the game.

I HATE the dreads, pisses me off that Mingo and Tyrann both have long arse Polamalu like dreads. Its just fricking stupid, they really shouldve focused more energy on something else rather than adding something that looks stupid in the first place.

Running game seems alot more difficult, but I made just need to get used to it before I can jump to conclusions.

The rosters suck, we all know that. I know the edited rosters will be out shortly but I didnt think that they could be used in online games If not, Im gunna have to find a different team besided LSU to play with this year. I hope I see more improvements with more experience in the game as Ive only played one game so far...

Btw, I lost 20-17 going for the winning TD Mett through a pick

I was pretty good with LSU, but I was playing against UVA. I was up 24-7 when the guy quit (it was an unranked game). I had two user INTs and Ford had a 72 yard TD run to open the 2nd half.

Somebody please explain to me why NCAA decided not to make the D-button/pad the primary player control button instead of the L3 button?

I've tried looking for how to change it, but can't find out how to do this under customize controls. Anyone know have any ideas?

my review so far after playing 4 ranked games (3-1)
lsu's offense is just like real life. talent everywhere but i can't seem to have consistent drives. if i score its a big play or a few big plays that leads to the score. no long steady drives yet. this is killing me because im a ball control offense guy. lsu's defense is nice though. secondary is money and brandon taylor is good in the box for run support.
i hate that ware is not on the game. and fullback doesn't count because they made him terrible
played one game with Florida and whipped the shite out of michigan state.

the tackling really is a shite ton better.

couldnt run for shite really compared to '11 but ill take the blame for that for not reading the LE/RE correctly

I picked a RB in my RTG and apparently my high school is Air Raid/mike leach is head coach cause they called a pass play literally every play in the first half.

I also am used to slingin the ball around a ton and could hardly pass. More to do with getting used to the new game i guess. im sure that will change as i get used to adjusting to how players react in a zone

Because they aren't stuck in the 1990s?

I just have never understood the blind hatred for any developer. I try to give everything a fair shake, and not judge it based on who is developing it.

It's not hatred, it's just come up with a "new" game. It's the same thing over and over.

Sure the graphics are better, but there is so much more to college football that EA can add to the game

Examples:

-Teams can go on probation
-You can make your own story lines (cheating, suspensions, etc.)
-You can upgrade stadium
-You can have the whole conference re-alignment debate
-The announcers don't say the same shite ever game
-serious weather issues

The list goes on!

While these would be great, the issue I see is disk space (mainly for the 360). I don't think EA has space to add a ton of new features because they just don't have the room until Microsoft goes to blu-ray.

Well, PS3 is a blue ray. There is no reason games on PS3 can be more realistic. Involve things that actually happen.

Let the gamer actually choose things. Why make a blue ray game if you're not going to use "everything" it can be used for.

I wrote EA about this and they basically said "we don't take recommendations" from people who don't work for EA. That's kind of sad in my opinion.

I guess people who work for EA are the smartest guys alive, yet they leave so much out of their games!

You know that'd require them making two completely different games right? They barely have time to make/QC NCAA, and people bitch about bugs and glitches, imagine how buggy the game would be if they had to make two completely different games.

Well then it's going to be the same shite game every year with really no "NEW" feature!

Right so coaching carousel, improved RTG, better tackling etc. count for nothing right?
