XBOX Series X HDMI Port Damaged

The HDMI port on my kid’s XBOX Series X is damaged. The cable is fine; the damage was to the port itself. Before I bring it to a repair shop, does anyone know if a USB to HDMI adapter would work? In other words, plug the HDMI cable into the adapter and the plug the adapter into the USB port?

I am not sure if an adapter will work. But I would try to go through xbox to get the repair done, off chance that the repair may be covered by system warranty, but if not, their repairs won't void your warranty.
