Xbox one issues

My Xbox is having trouble reading my disc. Terrible timing considering rdr2 just came out. I’m thinking about just getting a new one. Is it worth getting Xbox one x or just get a normal xbone? I do play a lot of games and have a 4K tv. Any suggestions?
Also would it be worth anything to trade in the console?

I have both a standard Xbox and Xbox One X. The X is incredibly underwhelming and I do I have a 4K panel. I would recommend trying to put a band-aid on it for the time being or just grabbing a used console from your local store. Would not be surprised to see the next console generation teased next spring.
