Can't use them with vehicles in games like Fortnite and Warzone

Same. I got one after picking up a Series X earlier this year and its certainly worth the money.

What makes it so much better than a normal? Asking honestly.
Build quality
Integrated rechargeable battery
Adjustable play in the triggers
Swappable thumbsticks, d-pad, and paddles
Four programmable paddle buttons
Thumbstick tension is adjustable
Ability to store controller profiles within the controller.
Ability to adjust sensitivity and deadzone for thumbsticks and triggers.
The only downside is unlike the standard current generation controllers it does not have a dedicated button for screenshots/recording. Other than that and as others said it's like night and day.

Bump.
These came out today.
Looking for informed opinion.
I'm an currently playing PC games with a Dual Sense controller. I tried a standard $70 xbox controller and didn't' like it. It didn't seem sensitive enough in the thumbsticks. The DualSense is working fine.
Would this Elite Series 2 Core be better than the DualSense?

It's basically the same thing as the Elite 2, but without all the extra thumbsticks and doesn't come with the back paddles. Elite 2 on sale for $150 at places is better, but buy the warranty, it's almost 100% going to shite out in 1-2 years.

Thanks. I may wait and see what the new DualSense Edge is all about before I pull the trigger on anything.

I'd do the same if I were you. The Dualsense units are just better made and don't have nearly as many QC issues, I'd expect the Edge to be no different
I'm going to keep using my Elite until it inevitably develops issues, but after that I'm waiting for a V3 to see if they rectify all the problems.

I use the hair triggers. Why wouldn't you? Setting them to the lowest amount of trigger pull for FPSes is huge.
they feel cheap and uncomfortable for anything you have to hold. automatic guns, driving, etc. Some games don't even register the presses when you have the hair triggers on
the only real time I use them is when I'm running an EBR or other single fire weapon, it gives a real and tangible advantage for those
