oh how i wish i could go back and reinvest my dollars... instead of the two 360s and the wii i wasted my money on... i should have just gotten a ps3.

I don't mind it. Sure, I had a RROD, but Microsoft replaced it free of charge. No complaints here. The fact that you took time to make a thread about this suggests that you may have a bit too much free time...

I wouldn't sweat that shite. Enjoy what you purchased. Even if all the systems on the market were absolutely identical in every single way, people would find a way to undermine the competition. Fanboyism makes no sense to me and I contemplate giving up video games in order to disassociate myself from such behavior.

Im not gonna lie I do lean more to the PS3 and Playstation in general but im not a fanboy. I used to own a 360 before PS3 came out and it messed up on me and I am kind of scared to buy one now cause of the RROD thing.

It's supposedly completely fixed now, and even if, they will fix it and take care of you.
FWIW, I own a 360, PS3, and a Wii. I love the 360 for the games, I use the PS3 mostly for Blu-Ray, and I only play the Wii with the wife.

Yeah im probably going to wait until next year and get one to see if they have fully gotten it fixed. I hear they put some new chipset or something in the 360's this year that causes it run cooler. My last 360 was freezing on me bad and I only had it about a week and it was at the time when 360's were really hard to find so I couldn't just exchange because they didn't have any in.

so are the graphics on PS3 alot better than Xbox 360?

the ps3 is more powerful but sony cant program worth a shite so the end products look pretty identical. In side by side comparisons on the web, I can't really pick a winner, they just look a tad different.

No, you cannot tell the difference unless you have them side by side on the same model TV, and even then it's hard to spot differences. Anyone who claims one is graphically superior to the other is lying.

Gaming on 360 is head and shoulders ahead of PS3. It is awesome to own a PS3, but the awesomeness comes from many other reasons other than gaming.
