Got my replacement Kinect - and it came with a new mic and controller. MS makes you swap out the mic and controller too so now I get brand new components when all I needed was a functional Kinect.

I had to have my Kinect replaced. Went through Microsoft and they only sent me the Kinect in a nicely packaged box with return postage.

Looking at this thing now, they didn't even send me a pre-paid shipping code! What the frick MS.
That is what instruct via the support email they send out, but I guess I wasn't supposed to receive the controller and mic. I'm going to call MS and play dumb and hope they think that they only sent me the kinect.

I used advanced. I wanted it as fast as I could get it. I liked that I didn't have to call Microsoft and deal with them.

Brannen you joining this party or what? I got called a racist, informed I made less than him, and that he knew the law because he went to college and I didn't. So all in all, a successful day
