Xbone hookup issues

So, I've had my xbox one since april. No issues, was connected to a wifi at my old place.
Just moved and had to establish new internet connections.
All set up and my phone, iPad, and computer all are connected, but when I tried to hook up my xbox it keeps reading an odd error..
It connects then quickly goes to a page stating "there was a problem with the update"
It feels like a crazy loop of , I need the internet to update but need to update before it can connect to the internet.
Driving me insane. Any help appreciated.

have you full reset it? as in holding down the power button on the console until it turns off? if you haven't done that yet... do that and try again.

Yes sir did all that.
And reset modem.
And went on the systems page to reset ..
Still being weird.

Maybe try hard wiring it real quick and see if it will do whatever the update is, then try to go wireless

Update:
So after giving up and just watching regular old tv for an hour or so, I decided to try it again.
It had me update my user info through my phone. Then reset my whole xbox.
Lost all saved stuff... but, it's now working.
Minus minor hardships, I had to call my ex for all my old streaming passwords. Ugh.

full reset will do it from when I had this problem it's a bad update loop you're stuck in
