Order of what I want to play
Tauren or Troll Shaman
Human Warlock
Undead Priest
Human Mage
Decisions to make I have.
Got a lock to 11 and a shaman to 12 this weekend. I really enjoy the playing experieince where you have to do some thinking. I wonder if I still have my original WOW guide. It could come in handy now 15 years later.
ETA: Let me know what server.

Im gonna do undead mage and priest first to compliment professions ( herb, alch, tailor, enchanter), then I'll do an orc warrior or troll hunter. I'll plan to join herod. Coordinating professions should be a goal.
As long as there's a dedicated enchanter for wands I'd like to do alch first.

Don't take this as the end-all. It's just survey results from reddit, which tends to be Horde sided, but it's an interesting starting point.

I would have lost a lot of money before I bet that druids would be that popular this go around.
I’m planning to run a human warrior main with either mining/BS or mining/eng.
Alts will likely be a NE hunter herb/alch and gnome mage tailoring/ench.

Top 3 are the best well rounded classes for both pve and pvp. I'm not surprised.i just want to be able to pull mobs and hop around spamming AE til they die.
Having mains that can enchant and make pots will make the rest of my experience easier as well.
Ill read into it and consider warlock if i think they're drastically more likelt to get picked ul for grouping.

I was settled on a Tauren Warrior for a while but now that we're so close I'm starting to fancy a fun leveling hybrid like enhancement shaman. Gonna be leveling with a buddy and I'm sure he'd like the windfury totems and heals.

The proc rate is the same regardless of weapon speed IIRC so I dual wielded daggers with my enhancement shammy. Pissed a few rogues off in dungeons need rolling.

What blew my mind was when I first learned about tanks with daggers to maximize threat generation due to rage capping.
It made complete sense once I read it, but just the entire concept of passing on the massive, awesome swords/etc. for a damn dagger felt so wrong.
