Witcher 3 remaster finally implements crossplatform mods bringing all pc mods to console

Right now the console mod options for Witcher 3 are pretty limited and not all that impressive.
When the remaster goes live for us on the 29th and they have somehow made the two seamless so any mod made for pc will all now work on consoles as well which is really awesome because this game has one of the top modding scenes ever.
It’s also very easy and seamless to mod this game for consoles, which makes companies like Bethesda look like greedy idiots

They run their own website to host the mods for consoles. Currently as I said it’s not very populated with mods. When the remaster is live all the pc mods hosted on nexus mods and all other sites will be automatically ported to this website outfitted to run on console.
There’s 10s of thousands of mods that will be available then. From outfits, completely new hand made quest, new armor sets, new swords, new skills you can put in the skill tree, new enemies, and much much more.
When I get home I’ll look at my pc mod folder and give you a list of the ten best imo
One of my favorites is Gwent Redux.
It significantly improves the opponent AI making Gwent substantially more difficult, alters the values of certain cards in the game to make it more balanced between all factions, and adds 100 new cards using characters from the books and wider Witcher lore they didn’t use originally
Another one I like is Geralts Cloak
In the books Geralt is almost always wearing a deep black cloak and this puts it on him in the game with a red wolf in the center
Then there’s all kinds of obvious stuff you find in all heavily modded games too. You can remove weapon durability, remove weight limits, redesign monsters, randomize merchant items, fast travel from anywhere, and on and on and on

Same.
But just for clarity in case anyone is confused. What I’m discussing here will be available when the remaster is live the 29th of this month. You won’t have to wait until songs of the past next year for this

?Notice?
In conjunction with the release of the "Remastered Update" for *The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt* on September 29, the Xbox version will now support "Xbox Play Anywhere." As a result, customers who own *The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt* on Xbox will be able to receive the PC version at no additional cost via the Microsoft Store.
Second paragraph is specifically about the Japanese version, so I didn't quote it here.
