I prefer a controller but i don't play online FPS that require maximum precision to stay alive.
For 99% of games I play I prefer gamepad movement over awsd and it isn't close. I would rather have the easier movement than maximum shot precision. Not that I've ever noticed a problem with headshots on the gamepad.
I have seem plenty of PC folks on youtube trying to use a gamepad and it is funny. I guess it takes some relearning after using just key and mouse for a long period of time.

I just got Call of duty on xbox one, and it's going to be my first FPS on console since BLOPS 2.

I always prefer K/M......but Diablo 3 with a controller is the best way to play that game.
