Yeah load times and sim load week to week was awful. There were a good amount of unnecessary features in the game.
I'd rather them get rid of shite like mascot mash-up and add the ability to hire and fire coordinators who have specific styles of play.

I don't think there will be another game until players receive a stipend. After these lawsuits the NCAA will not give another license until they're safe. We need a game where everything is customizable. They just make random teams and give you the set up w/recruiting and season structure, but you can adjust players and teams and such

I hate to say it but I agree with you. The NCAA got pissy for a reason and I think the only way around it will be to just avoid anything that can be regarded as a realistic player likeness.
Maybe they could develop something that runs along the line of the TeamBuilder feature but just as a generic college football game. They could still work with the schools to use their playstyle and rating, logos, stadiums, uniforms, etc but just make totally generic player models unless you as the individual player decide to customize everything to realistic specs. It would almost be less work on the game manufacturer to do this and they could focus on the details of the game, plus the consumer could get exactly the player setup they want.
